Starting from the French Quarter, journey past the Faubourg Marigny and through The Treme (site of the HBO series “Treme”) by the Ernie K-Doe Mother-in-Law Lounge and down the magnificent Esplanade Avenue passing by the Edgar Degas House and on into Faubourg Saint John,
Here you will visit the aboveground St. Louis Cemetery #3 and cross over Bayou St. John into City Park and the Dueling Oaks then wind along the bayou to Old Spanish Fort and Lake Pontchartrain. Then it’s on to the University section, Audubon Park, and the Streetcar line down the majestic St. Charles Avenue to the Irish Channel, Lower Garden District, and Colesium Square before returning back to the French Quarter.
