Garden District Walking Tour Highly recommended

“We took the 2 hour Garden District walking tour on Oct 11. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour. The tour guide, James, was knowledgeable and informative and we’re sure we got much more out of our walk than if we had done it on our own with a tourbook. The group was large but remained engaged throughout. The walking pace was not strenuous but be warned, to call some of the sidewalks “uneven” would be generous. Wear comfortable walking shoes. There is a coffee shop at the start of the tour (washrooms, bottled water, coffee, baked goods…) in the same building as the bookstore. As noted in other reviews, the starting point is a very short walk from the St Charles Streetcar line. Highly recommended.”
