Historic tour – very interesting

Historic tour – very interesting   “We did a historic tour with David this weekend. The details, knowledge and stories shared by him made the tour an absolute must-do. It helps you appreciate the French Quarter and go beyond the typical booze and beads picture of New Orleans. Remember to have some cash to tip the guide – I realized I didn’t have any, could not find an ATM and felt really terrible about it!”   – busybuzz, Atlanta, Georgia   https://www.tourneworleans.com/walking-tours/french-quarter/

Worth The Walk!

Worth The Walk!   “Our tour guide was William. William was easy going and down to earth. He communicated everything plainly. William started off our tour with some very interesting New Orleans history and ended the tour at the Louie Armstrong Park where we departed.   Throughout the tour , William would always tie back New Orleans history to where we were at the time-cemetery, a church, etc. even explained the steamboat whistle in the distance and what the number of whistles meant.   I would recommend taking the tour, especially if William is your tour guide.”   – Olemcdon Orlando, Florida   https://www.tourneworleans.com/walking-tours/st-louis-cemetery-1-2-voodoo-tour/

Absolutely Fantastic Tour

Absolutely Fantastic Tour “I recently visited New Orleans for the first time, but I’m a fairly experienced traveler overall. From someone who has been on a ridiculous amount of tours, this one was really exceptional. My parents had visited New Orleans a few months before me and recommended this tour. I also had a terrific time and learned so much about the city, its uniqueness, and the history behind that uniqueness; why the city is the way it is. The portion about Katrina was also incredibly enlightening, but truly the whole thing was fantastic. I would recommend this tour to anyone, and especially those who care about a city’s history and the story behind what it is today. I had a man tour guide (the only one I believe) who was fantastic. I can’t remember his name but I think…

Would recommend this tour to anyone

Would recommend this tour to anyone “We did the Garden District Walking Tour last week and really enjoyed it. Our guide Dave was a fount of knowledge and took the time to answer everyone’s questions thoroughly and even accomomdate some tour attendees particular interests by providing additional information about those topics. The tour was well paced, gave us some great history about the Garden District and some of the homes specifically, and was very interesting. Dave even took the time to speak to me after the tour about some specific questions I had about a formed garden district resident (Anne Rice) and showed me where I could find additional information about her in the local bookstore. I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in seeing Lafayette Cemetary and the Garden District.” – Chelsea S, Melbourne, Australia https://www.tourneworleans.com/walking…/garden-district/

Interesting tour of the Garden District

Interesting tour of the Garden District   “Our guide was knowledgeable and shared a lot of lesser-known (at least to me) facts and stories about NOLA as a whole, as well as the Garden District’s founding. He also pointed out celebrity homes along the way, which was fun. My husband got some fantastic photos of the gorgeous architecture in the district. Wear comfy shoes and be prepared for lots of broken sidewalks, though! The tour is 2 hours long, so I’d highly recommend bringing a bottle of water and also making a pit stop at the bathroom in the bookstore before you head out.”   – HippieAllie, Mnneapolis, MN   https://www.tourneworleans.com/walking-tours/garden-district/
