Homer Plessy Tomb

Under construction being blessed by Father Jerome LeDoux, pastor of St. Augustine Catholic Church where Homer Plessy was a parishioner.

In his epic history of St. Augustine “The War of the Pews,” Father LeDoux writes that Robert Florence ended the War of the Pews with his cemetery preservation efforts, starting with the Homer Plessy tomb.
