Excellent tour of the Garden District
“We highly recommend this tour of the Garden District. A self-guided tour would be ok, but having all the fun facts and information fed to you under the sweltering sun, instead of you looking it up yourself, is way better. Our guide Frank, is very knowledgeable, upbeat and very thoughtful – making sure all our stops would be for us to be under some kind of a shade. The guidebooks wouldn’t have been able to point out which houses were used for movies such as Benjamin Button, and whatnot. The mansions are nice to look at but more appreciation comes with knowledge.”
