“I booked the Garden District Walking Tour for my husband and myself online the night before our tour, got immediate confirmation and the process was so simple. We met the guide and our group at the Garden District Book Shop, which was easy to reach using the St. Charles Street Streetcar. Our guide, Jane, was experienced and knowledgeable and provided lots of information on history, architecture, and local culture. We toured one of the historic cemeteries which was very interesting and saw many beautiful homes in the lush Garden District. Our group was about 20 people, we moved at a comfortable pace, it lasted about 2 hours, as planned. I was concerned that a walking tour might be a bit of a challenge for me with a bad knee, but I didn’t have any trouble keeping pace. We were very pleased with the experience and recommend it to anyone who is visiting NOLA for the first time.”
