Historic New Orleans Walking Tour of the Garden District

“As part of the tour, we visited Lafayette Cemetery which was very informative regarding the customary burial and entombment “processes” due to the water table level. The beautiful homes were amazing and strolling the neighborhood was very welcoming..It’s nice to see another side of NOLA other than the French quarter although that is just as much fun in a different sense..this is truly my second trip to NOLA in recent months, and I will definitely return as I feel there is so much more to experience. Definitely enjoyed knowing where the Manning family resides although I truly had no idea who Anne Rice was until the guide pointed out her previous home. I would more than recommend this tour. If you get to the book store early which is the starting point, try the chicken salad at the coffee shop on the corner and afterwards if you have an afternoon tour grab a adult beverage at the blind pelican..”-
