Review of: New Orleans Garden District and Lafayette Cemetery Tour

“Nita was our charming and knowledgeable guide. When I’d read we’d spend ~30-45 minutes in a cemetery, I thought that would be too long, but no – she had some fascinating stories about the burial process and traditions. The cemetery was crowded with other tours, but we could still get some good photos. The walking tour in the neighborhood was also informative, and we got to see some very nice big homes (ahem, John Goodman, Sandra Bullock), and some more modest homes still with distinctive architecture. Nita was amusing, friendly, and seemed into it despite the fact she probably does these tours all the time! Definitely recommend you take the trip away from Bourbon St. to see the “nice” side of NOLA.”
