The accurate historical telling made this Haunted Tour even creepier!

“We were very lucky on our recent Haunted Tour of the FQ. Although it was supposed to be a large group of tourists, we were the only ones that didn’t cancel at the last minute, so we were given a private tour of the scariest haunted spots of the FQ. The tour guide was highly educated and had a true interest in telling an accurate history of these locales. In addition to telling us about the spooky happenings at these places, he also was adept at providing a meaningful historical context to each of his stories, so that by the end of the tour, you really felt like you had a mental timeline of each of the events. This tour was not led by a costumed vampire or ghost, so if you are wanting a “show”, I recommend another tour. But, if you are interested in what really happened during the time of Marie Laveau, Madame LaLaurie, and others, this is the tour for you! Plus, the guide had interesting information on the current goings-on of famous haunted residences in the FQ, including the LaLaurie mansion. Although he prided himself on giving us accurate information, he did not shy away from chatting to us about haunted fiction, including our shared interest in American Horror Story Coven. 😉 A highly recommended tour!”
